We are excited to announce that Family Bridge Visitation and Community Services Center has again been selected as a project site for the 2014 Hands On Atlanta Day of Community Service!
On Saturday, October 18, 2014, Hands On Atlanta will bring together thousands of volunteers for Hands On Atlanta Day to participate in Atlanta’s largest civic engagement day and transform Greater Atlanta’s communities.
Hands On Atlanta Day mobilizes more than 6,500 volunteers to revitalize Atlanta’s schools, parks, and community centers. This year’s Hands On Atlanta Day will kick-off Hands On Atlanta’s 25th anniversary and provide a platform to engage volunteers in a year of service.
Family Bridge Visitation and Community Services Center is a community and volunteer based program; ordinary citizens who have a passion for helping children and families can volunteer their time and resources to ensure that children have a safe and inviting place to visit with their family members.
Volunteers are needed to complete several projects at the visitation center on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
The Family Bridge center is located at 3584 Miller Street, Lithia Springs, GA 30122 (adjacent to Cornerstone Baptist Church).
On the day of service, volunteers will have the opportunity to further support Family Bridge’s service to families by painting, planting, cleaning, constructing, and creating at the center!
Please RSVP by 10/17/2014 to email@example.com and let us know if you will participate in the Family Bridge community service project.
